![]() ![]() I have been doing a little tuning work on my '10 Matrix working on getting rid of a nock left tare. Hopefully many can benefit from this to tune their bow and not to worry too much of cam lean.įor curiosity sake, did you try a lighter spine? I believe it will shoot much better now, with much load taken off the vanes. It was fixed with moving my nocking point higher. My bare shaft was hitting the wall straight (left to right), with a little nock down. So i moved my sight pins to match POA with POI. Test showed that bare shafts were hitting with fletched, grouping tight enough, So you would either untwist control (longer) or twist buss cable (shorter) to fix that. SMALL adjustmentto top cam lean to the left, MOVED bareshaft POI from 1 foot missing right to bareshaft hitting with fletched shafts.ĭraw Stops were not hitting at the same time anymore, The bareshaft POI matched the fletched shaft POI. Kept adding small amounts of top cam lean to the left, until Need to have a LITTLE top cam lean to the left, when at full draw.Īdjusted for small amount of top cam lean to the left, when at full draw. So Nuts&Bolts decided to go in opposite direction on yoke twisting. Shooting the bow showed bare shaft hitting even farther right. It was done top cam lean set to vertical. Top Cam lean at full draw seemed to need some adjustment. So Nuts&Bolts took a deeper look at the bow.Ĭhecked sync and timing, it's was perfect. ![]() I tried to fix cam lean by twisting Yoke cables, lean was gone,īut it did not fix the tear or bare shaft POI (missing to the right).įletched arrows were shooting good actually up to 86 yards( max on my outdoor range),īut I knew bow is not tuned perfectly and it did bother me. less than a foot on the right, but still not there.Ĭenter shot was done and re-checked by modified french tuning as per N&B. Since i got it, it had infamous left tear and bare shafts were hitting a foot on right side, same height. ![]()
